Champagne “Les Bauves” by Waris Larmandier is the result of 100% Chardonnay from grapes of the homonymous parcel planted in the 1962, 1986 and 1998 vintages on outcropping chalky sediments, in the Grand Cru village of Cramant. Millésimé 2014, this Blanc de Blancs is fresh, mineral and fleshy; fruity aromas predominate, accompanied by pastry notes. Long and balanced finish. No added dosage (zéro dosage).  Champagne “Les Bauves” tells a lot about the terroir of the Côte des Blancs, where Chardonnay reaches its maximum expression thanks to the chalky character of the soil which favors the balance between the acidity of the fruit, the sugar and the precursors of aromas that reveal themselves in the wine. Limited edition of about 1100 bottles.
