Salon Oenothèque Case Magnum 2008

Under no doubt is 2008 one of the most extraordinary and sought after vintages in Champagne, so Salon crowns it with their unique and legendary Salon 2008.

Salon has always been synonymous with the highest quality and only produced in the best vintages in extremely limited quantities. The president of Salon – Monsieur Didier Depond – has made a drastic decision regarding the long-awaited Salon 2008 with a distribution exclusively in Magnum format and a production further limited to only 8,000 bottles!

The 8,000 Magnums of Salon 2008 were released on 19 September 2019 and are sold exclusively in a rare collector’s case: the Salon Limited Edition Œnothèque Case 2008. Monsieur Depond defined 2008 as a dream vintage – comparable only to the very great 1982 vintage – with almost infinite ageing potential.

The precious case, beautifully crafted, contains a Magnum Salon 2008 and two bottles for each vintage 2004, 2006 and 2007 in their “2019 Edition“, beign late disgorged in January 2019 (along with Salon 2008 Magmum) with a sugar dosage lower than the traditional releases.
