Champagne Ruinart
Dom Ruinart Magnum 2007
The Champagne Dom Ruinart represents the best among the Cuvée of the Maison since 1959 and its the greates expression of its Chardonnay grapes. Dom Ruinart 2007 comes from Chardonnay grapes Grand Cru, 75% from Côte des Blancs (especially Chouilly, Le Mesnil, Oger and Avize) and 25% from the northern slope of Montagne de Reims (especially Sillery and Verzenay). This perfect combination grants a light and delicate structure to this vintage. It smells fine and elegant and of fresh fruit and flowers: cedar, peach and yellow plums, white fruit, tilia and lily of the valley. it tastes fresh as well, with touches of toasted bread and croissant, so typical for Dom Ruinart.
The Champagne Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2007 expresses itself with a very soft, elegant and distinct balance. Its fresh, spring-like notes, complemented by slightly smoky aromas, guarantee a dynamic, sculpted complexity, so typical of the Dom Ruinart style. The finish, characterised by a citrus note, offers an elegant and refreshing acidity.
