The Champagne Special Club Chouilly 2014 by Pierre Gimonnet is a great representation of the Terroir in Chouilly, a small village classified as 100% Grand Cru in Côte des Blancs. Traditionally, the Cuvée Special Club is a summary of the best production, since it is a blend of different Vigneron’s terroirs, but for the first time in history, this vintage 2012, Didier and Olivier Gimonnet have developed special editions of the Special Club, with a Millésime exclusively from the Grand Cru Terroir in Chouilly. The result is a Champagne Blanc de Blancs, from 100% Chardonnay grapes, from a single parcel located in Chouilly, lieu-dit Montaigu. Vinification in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and an Extra Brut dosage (4g/l) to underline its liveliness and minerality. Great Champagne, produced in a very limited quantity.
