This Vintage Blanc de Blancs is 100% Chardonnay, rests for 5 years on its yeasts and 6 more months after disgorging to improve its maturity. The initial taste is typical of Chardonnay: soft and slender, and sweet. It has touches of honey, white fruit, dried fruit and minerals, like all other from Côte des Blancs. It also recalls sugared almonds, but it is delicate and seducing. You can also perceive fresh mint and basil. The Blanc de Blancs by Louis Roederer is a pure wine, tensed, fine and brilliant.
