Grand Siècle N°17 Les Réserves Magnum

Since the opening of the first edition of Grand Siècle in 1959, a very limited number of bottles have been preciously preserved at the tip in a gallery – Monks Gallery – secluded in the cellars of the Laurent-Perrier Maison. The Galerie now houses part of the Laurent-Perrier heritage and perpetuates the memory of the Grand Siècle style, inspired by the ideal of a unique “Art de Vivre à la française”. On the occasion of the Maison‘s Bicentenary and in tribute to Bernard de Nonancourt, the man who created Grand Siècle, Laurent-Perrier has thus decided to release a limited edition of the most symbolic of his Champagnes – this exceptional Cuvée will be presented under the name “Grand Siècle Les Réserves“.

The Champagne Grand Siècle N°17 Les Réserves Magnum by Laurent-Perrier is the result of an assemblage of 11 of the Grand Crus of the Champagne region. The 17th edition is made by the union of three great vintages – 1995, 1993 and 1990 – in order to reflect a perfect balance between structure, elegance and freshness. Composed of 55% Chardonnay grapes and 45% Pinot Noir grapes with a long aging on its own yeasts for over 20 years, the result is a rare and prestigious “Multi Vintage” Champagne, ideal to pair with refined dishes.
