Caractères by Maison Gamet is the result of the blending of 80% Meunier,
15% Pinot Noir and 5% Chardonnay, from vineyards with an average age of 25-50
years of Mardeuil, Fleury-la-Rivière and Damery, in the Vallée de the Marne.

Based on
the 2016 harvest, this Champagne is a tribute to the memories of Gamet family.
In fact, since 1999 Philippe Gamet has kept his reserve wines according to the
principle of the Solera method. Vinified and aged in oak barrels, Champagne
Caractères surprises for its complexity and expresses all the richness of
Meunier, the predominant grape variety of the Vallée de la Marne. Pleasant
notes of oxidation in the mouth, followed by a long freshness thanks to the
hints of yellow fruit and citrus, this Champagne has a great concentration and
tension. Dosage in the Extra Brut parameters (4 g/ l).
