Champagne G.H. Mumm
Grand Cordon
The Champagne Brut Grand Gordon is a novelty of the Maison Mumm. The new bottle is recognizable by the classic red ribbon (cordon rouge) that Georges Hermann Mumm had put on the bottle in 1876, to celebrate the reception of the High Honour of the French Legion of Honour. This bottle with its particular shape, in addition to its thin neck, is distinguished by its purity. Its sober and harmonious lines are underlined by the famous red ribbon which is encrusted in the thickness of the glass. The label has disappeared. The name of the Maison Mumm remains and its emblem, an eagle, is in light gold, just like the headgear.
The blend of Champagne Grand Cordon is a tribute to Pinot Noir, the best vintages, chosen for its structure and power. It also combines the finesse and elegance of the Chardonnay and the fruity roundness of the Meunier.
The light and bright color of Champagne Gran Cordon reveals aromas of summer fruit. With a lively freshness and a beautiful persistence, this complexity is prolonged in the mouth in a perfect balance, before dividing into a final round.
