Le Mont Chainqueux V19
Champagne Le Mont Chainqueux by Elise Bougy is the result of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Meunier from vines planted in 1965 by Elise’s grandparents come from homonymous parcel (Lieu–dit) in Premier Cru Les Mesneux village in Montagne de Reims, from land cultivated according to biodynamic principles.
The terroir is composed of a chalky and loamy-clayey layer and the grapes benefit from a south-eastern exposure.
Harvest 2019, the cuvée Le Mont Chainqueux undergoes spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation processes, without intervention in the cellar; the wine is aged for 7 months in 7 x 228-l barrels and 1 x 20-hl barrel.
This Champagne does not undergo any filtration or clarification; no final dosage (Brut Nature).
Fruity and woody notes for this Blanc de Noirs Champagne ideal to serve as an aperitif or to start a meal.
Limited production of only 991 bottles.
