Many people consider the Aube area second class, yet Drappier is clear proof of how false the claim is. The Champagne Rosé de Saignée is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes undergoing a few days of maceration on their lees, which gives it this important colour.

This Champagne Rosé reveals notes of red fruits and flowers such as violets, with a slightly spicy hint to the nose. Slightly dosed, it is extraordinarily expressive and very fresh in the mouth, with a subtle note of liquorice in the end.
