Champagne Denis Salomon
L’ Indépendante 2013
Denis Salomon’s Champagne L’Indépendante 2013 is a blend of equal parts of Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, of a careful selection of the best grapes from the vineyards around Vandières and Verneuil villages in the heart of Vallée de la Marne. Millésime 2013, this Champagne is aged in barrels for about 18 months, is not filtered and malolactic fermentation is not sought. Champagne L’Indépendante matures for a further 6 years on its lees and it is bottled with a cork also for the second fermentation to enhance ageing.
This Champagne is a return to its origins, a bridge between past and future, a wine with a soul. The dosage is 0 g/l of sugar – Brut Nature, which reveals a complex but extraordinarily balanced and complete bouquet, making it ideal for a meal among enthusiasts.
