Champagne Delavenne
Rosé Marne
Champagne Rosé
Marne by Delavenne is the result of the blending of 43% Pinot Noir, 40%
Chardonnay and 17% Bouzy Rouge (AOC Côteaux Champenois) coming from vineyards
in the Grand Cru villages of Bouzy and Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims. The
Delavenne family manages the vineyard by adopting a sustainable and responsible
approach, the land is in fact worked with integrated viticulture methods,
natural fertilizers and without the use of herbicides. Produced from the
blending of grapes from the 2016 and 2017 harvests, Champagne Rosé Marne
vinifies in steel and fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts; the
malolactic process is not done and it does not undergo filtration or clarification
processes. Aging on the yeasts for more than 3 years. Dosage is within the Brut
parameters (9 g/ l). Generous and vinous with aromas of red fruits, baked red
apples, spices and rose petals. Perfect as an aperitif but also with fruit and
chocolate based desserts.
