Champagne Delavenne
L’île
Champagne L’île by Delavenne is the result of the blending of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay coming from vines in the Grand Cru of Bouzy and Ambonnay villages in the Montagne de Reims. The Delavenne family manages the vineyard by adopting a sustainable and responsible approach, the land is in fact worked with integrated viticulture methods, natural fertilizers and without the use of herbicides. Produced from the blending of grapes from the 2016 and 2017 harvests, Champagne L’île vinifies in steel and fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts; the malolactic process is not done and it does not undergo filtration or clarification processes. Aging on the yeasts for at least 4 years. Dosage 32 g/ l Demi-Sec. Champagne L’île will perfectly accompany desserts such as chocolate cakes, strawberry charlotte, tarte tatin.
