Champagne Delavenne
Brut Réserve Dom Basle
Champagne Brut Réserve Dom Basle by Delavenne is the result of the blending of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay coming from vines in the Grand Cru of Bouzy village in the Montagne de Reims. The Delavenne family manages the vineyard by adopting a sustainable and responsible approach, the land is in fact worked with integrated viticulture methods, natural fertilizers and without the use of herbicides. Produced from the blending of grapes from the 2014 and 2015 harvests, the Champagne vinifies in steel and fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts; the malolactic process is not done and it does not undergo filtration or clarification processes. Aging on the yeasts for more than 4 years. Dosage is within the Brut parameters (7.2 g/ l). The nose is lively, good complexity and depth of ripe fruit and pastry notes, the palate is characterized above all by fresh floral aromas. Champagne Brut Réserve Dom Basle is excellent with a cheese-based aperitif but also throughout the meal with fish-based dishes.
