Champagne André Heucq
Héritage Assemblage (Nature)
The Champagne Héritage Assemblage (Nature) by André Heucq is part of the Héritage collection, a blend of the 3 classic grape varieties authorized in the Champagne region: Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir (30%) and Meunier (30%). The selection of grapes comes from vineyards located in the Vallée de la Marne, more precisely in the villages of Cuisles and Baslieux-Chatillon. Fermentation occurs in steel for 70% and for the remaining 30% in fût de chêne, ageing on its own yeasts for at least 60 months before the final zero dosage (Brut Nature).
The Champagne Héritage Assemblage (Nature) by André Heucq has a golden colour, quite deep and animated by a nice effervescence. The nose is expressed on candied fruit, bread, apples, then white pepper, and it benefits from a nice complexity between the aromas of freshness and aging in the cellar. The attack on the palate is fresh, voluminous and balanced by a nice acidity. A rich and complex Champagne Brut Nature, and a beautiful blend that crowns the know-how of Domaine André Heucq. Excellent as an aperitif and ideal in combination with white meat and tender fish.
